about colin
Colin is a musical theatre performer originally from Northern Kentucky, just across the river from Cincinnati, OH. In the third grade, he auditioned and performed in his first musical, 101 Dalmatians. He has been performing ever since. In fourth grade, he enrolled at the Moss Performing Arts Academy in Ft. Wright, KY, where he was then able to perform multiple times a year in musicals, recitals, and competitions. He learned pretty early on that he had a knack for comedy as he continued to perform in the musicals at Moss. Once high school began, Colin decided that he wanted to pursue a career in the theatre, so he then enrolled in dance classes, including tap, ballet, and jazz/musical theatre dance. His dance studio had a heavy focus on tap dance in their training, and Colin found a love for tap soon after he began taking classes.
Colin then moved to Hartford, CT to study at The Hartt School and will be receiving his BFA in Musical Theatre in May 2024. While at The Hartt School, Colin was able to perform in a variety of roles and shows, appearing as “Turn Back, O Man” in Godspell, Man in Chair in The Drowsy Chaperone, The Waiter in She Loves Me, Travis in Footloose, and a member of the Cockney Quartet in My Fair Lady, in addition to being an ensemble dancer in Anything Goes and Pippin. Colin also has experience in the creation of new works, including a workshop of The Pilgrim at The Hartt School, written by Wade Dooley and Eli Zoller. In his senior year, he was able to take part in the Goodspeed Festival of New Musicals and perform in Photosynthesis, a new musical by Claudine Mboligikpelani Nako. In October of 2024, Colin made the move to New York City and ever since has been steadily auditioning and training to improve his craft.
